Art Basel Miami Beach is here once again. From Fairchild to Wynwood, the Design District, MiMo, Brickell, Downtown, Midtown, North Beach and South Beach, Art Basel is the greatest art show on earth..

6TH ANNUAL ZONES ART FAIR MIAMI – PREVIEW

Tuesday, November 29 from noon to 2 p.m.

Zones Art Fair focuses on up-and-coming artists and making their works more accessible to the public. The Fair, curated by Miami-base artist Charo Oquet, also features emerging Caribbean art, as well as sculpture, painting, video and performance art. Admission is free. Fair hours are Thurs & Fri from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Breakfast served on Thurs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a reception is planned for Sat from 8 to 10 p.m.

SEVEN MIAMI – OPENING RECEPTION

Tuesday, November 29 from 1 to 8 p.m.

Organized by seven galleries – BravinLee Programs, Hales Gallery, Pierogi Gallery, Postmasters, P.P.O.W., Ronald Feldman Fine Arts and Winkleman Gallery – Seven Miami will return to Miami for the second year at a new location. It offers a collaborative, exhibition-like presentation that co-mingles galleries and artists, and looks beyond the typical art fair model to create a new platform for viewing and acquiring works of art. Admission to Seven is free, and the Fair is open Tues – Sun from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Fair’s opening festivities include a BBQ on Tuesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

ART ASIA MIAMI – VIP VERNISSAGE

Tuesday, November 29 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Established in 2008, Art Asia is the premier and only Asian contemporary art fair in the US, serving as a platform for galleries from around the world to showcase the best of established and emerging Asian artists. This year Art Asia Miami will further develop the presence of Near Eastern, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian galleries and artists paying special attention to broadening the understanding of Asian contemporary art. The Fair will host programming, including artist talks, curatorial tours and discussion panels. Vernissage open to VIP cardholders, press and invited guests. Fair hours are Weds – Sat from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sun from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. One day admission is $20; students $15.

ART MIAMI – OPENING NIGHT BENEFIT AND VIP PREVIEW

Tuesday, November 29 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

Miami’s longest running contemporary art fair, Art Miami, will host an Opening Night Cocktail Reception to benefit The Lotus House Women’s Shelter in Wynwood Art District. The Lotus House/Art Miami partnership has already raised more than $70,000 and is an integral part of Art Miami’s larger commitment to the City of Miami. A number of women from The Lotus House will be employed to work at the Fair. Tickets for the benefit are $25, available online or at the door. Following the benefit at 7 p.m., Art Miami’s VIP Preview will open for all Art Miami VIP cardholders. This has become a “can’t miss” event, giving serious collectors, museum professionals, curators, art enthusiasts, gallerists and artists the first view of some of the finest and most important works offered in the contemporary market. Experience Art Miami’s gallery-like ambience in the state-of-the-art 125,000-square-foot Art Miami Pavilion with its VIP Lounge designed by Juan Montoya.

YOGART

Wednesday – Sunday, November 30 – December 4

South Floridian Dawn Feinberg, a certified yoga instructor and licensed movement therapist, will introduce YogArt, an enhanced yoga experience that pairs Jivamukti yoga with art and live music. This unique blend of yoga, art and music will encourage participants to open their minds to a yoga experience, allowing them to express themselves both artistically and physically. Perfect for any level, from novice to seasoned students, the one-hour classes are morning and at sunset and end with a spread of healthy refreshments. Prices vary.

ELEMENTS

Wednesday – Sunday, November 30 – December 4

A five-night show called Elements celebrates the earth and organic beauty through art and cultural traditions, headlined by Brazilian-born artist Henrique Souza. The award-winning Souza will showcase his Just Add Water exhibition, a collection of color images that embrace the elements of nature. Also shown will be Ecuadorian artist Francisco Chediak, Cecilia Moreno-Yaghoubi, Pedro Diaz, Alvaro Daza and Dennis Carbee. Daily events planned, including a Vernissage on Wednesday curated by gallery owner Adriana de Moura and a street artist competition on Friday. Gallery hours are daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.
